Grill Makeover
Supplies needed:
- Lint-free cloth
- 220-Grit Sandpaper
- Drop Cloth
- High Heat Spray Paint
- Wire brush
- Sandpaper
Project Instructions
- 1. Find a spot outdoors and cover nearby items with drop cloths or old sheets to protect them from spray mist.
- 2. Remove any loose paint and rust from the surface with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry.
- 3. Hold the paint can 12-16” from the surface. Press the spray button and begin covering the surface in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
- 4. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
- 5. Let dry for 1 hour before heating and start cooking on your newly transformed grill.
